Staff Bio

Hello! My name is Shannon Tempelton, and I am so excited to start my 5th year as a part of the Rattler family! I am passionate about Biology and received my degree in Ecology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I have taught at both a middle and high school level, and I love teaching science; my goal is to help students better understand how the lessons they learn in the classroom connect to the science happening in the world around them.

I love the ocean- I studied tropical fish in college- so I am so excited to live somewhere where I can visit the beach regularly! In my free time I like to hike, paddleboard, surf, and try out new recipes.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns you might have. I am eager to work with you to help your child succeed!
